Central Location Testing
The majority of ACCE International`s projects and studies are conducted as central location tests (CLT). Respondents, who are recruited to participate in these types of studies, come to an ACCE facility to evaluate products. The main CLT facility is in Mississauga, Ontario with partner facilities in key Canadian, US and European cities.

Home Use Tests
Home Use Tests (also known as In-Home Use Test) are an alternative research design available at ACCE International. HUT methodology is generally used for projects where the product needs to be evaluated over a period of time (a day, a week, a month) or when one of the key objectives is to have the consumer use the product in the real life setting of the home.
ACCE International’s HUT methods resolve the two drawbacks with traditional home placement studies: 1) sample control and rotation, and 2) turnaround time. Shortening the fielding period means faster results.
ACCE International also conducts in-store studies for restaurant and retail clients.
Online Research Tests
Online studies provide a cost-effective research method for concept testing, as a qualifying technique for CLT and HUT studies and as a data collection method for HUT studies. ACCE International offers online research using a panel of representative respondents from across Canada and the U.S.
Global Research Capabilities
ACCE International has experience in implementing research projects in Canada, the United States, Continental Europe, United Kingdom and more. We have completed quantitative and qualitative research for major multi-national clients when global or multi-country product research is needed.
A trained panel is a cost effective method of research used to quantify product characters in detailed sensory terms. ACCE International’s trained panels can discern whether or not differences exist among a range of products and whether those differences warrant consumer testing or further product development. Trouble-shooting by the trained panel before a product launch is a good investment. It can save the client a considerable amount of money.
ACCE International has trained descriptive sensory panels that have gained international recognition for quality panel work against worldwide standards (Calibsensory).
Focus Group Moderating and Facility Rental
The greatest cost in consumer guidance research is the recruitment of consumers. If you are going to conduct a CLT, it is cost effective to augment your research results and learning by conducting qualitative research in conjunction with the CLT.
By providing qualitative research in combination with CLT or HUT research, ACCE International ensures key research learning is leveraged to maximize the value of your total research investment.
ACCE International offers qualitative research in the form of focus groups, mini groups and one-on-one interviews. ACCE International provides experienced moderators, or clients may supply their own. Our focus group facility is fully equipped including wireless Internet service.
