Consumer sensory testing on products with an active ingredient include employment of an IRB to review and approve project testing protocols. The IRB is a demographically representative group of individuals who are charged with the responsibility of reviewing and approving protocols, consent forms, advertising and any amendments prior to research implementation.

Consumer Data Base
Consumer guidance research is about getting REAL consumers; REAL consumers who are demographically representative of the market under study. ACCE International maintains a consumer panel data base of over 25,000 households, allowing research studies to be recruited and fielded within a week rather than weeks or months. Consumers are limited to the number of studies and category specific studies in which they can participate on an annual basis. This ensures ACCE International can field research in a demographically representative sample with REAL consumers to deliver reliable results without an over use of any individual consumers.
